Victory of Samurai Japan at the World Baseball Classic!

Japan won the championship! Whole Japan exploded in exultation. It’s the finest and greatest victory in Japanese baseball history. I’m sure it was the impressive game to long remain in the memories of all TV viewers.

A family member of mine wanted to go to the post office but held up because of the extra-innings, so had to keep watching impatiently. When the game was over, she rushed to the post office only to find there unusually empty to be followed by people rushing in. An entire nation was watching a TV baseball. It reminds me of the virtually-empty public bathhouses at the radio broadcasting hour of the most popular drama “What is your name?”

It was a well organized winning indeed. All players were heroes, which really struck our hearts. The mode of players in a bench occasionally shot on TV was entirely different from that of the Beijing Olympics. On top of that, we felt something fateful by Ichiro’s performance to finally bring the decided victory to the team, didn’t we?After all it must be Ichiro’s hit to the center field, which will long remain in people’s memories.

It was the ten innings that was highly praised by local newspapers of Los Angeles as “One of the most impressive ball games in the history of Dodger Stadium”. Personally, I feel I’m really happy to be fond of the baseball, for the more you like baseball, the deeper your excitement will be.

Congratulations whole Japan! Ahh, why not space will be the same?
